Green Living & Hobbies Alternative energy and green concepts aren't just useful in our fight against climate change. Green living doesn't have anything do with mirrored sunglasses, sandals and headbands. Green living is for the new millennium. It's fun and exciting, and will soon be entwined so tightly into our daily lives that no one will even consider green being "green" -- it will just be the way it is: every day life. Discuss green living concepts here.

Green Living - Planting some plants.

Just for fun, I've started to see if I get some plants at the office to take root. I cut off some leaves from the plant in my office and am seeing how long it will take to take root so i can replant it.

It has nothing to do with solar power, green energy etc. It is giving me a start of appreciation for plants, gardens and the environment.

Sitting behind a computer 10 hours a day doesn't usually make me feel like learning about gardening, planting and the environment.
