We’re Green is a community; a place for like-minded people, friends, co-workers, and just about everyone, to get together, share their passion for the environment, green living, alternative energy, and anything else that turns you green (and not with envy).  As a community, We’re Green depends greatly on the participation of our members to help We’re Green continue to grow, and to continue to be the best, most popular Green Community on the Internet.  To this end, we greatly appreciate any and all links and promotions for We’re Green that are generated by our community members.

That is why we started the website link competition.  Not only is this a great for you to help bring more and more interesting, informed, and passionate people to We’re Green, but also for you to show everyone on the internet why you are passionate about We’re Green, what it is that we do here, and most importantly why you think they should come to We’re Green, join our community, and make the world a better place.

What do you have to do?  That’s easy!  All you have to do to enter this contest is create a page on your website describing what you like about We’re Green, why you joined We’re Green, why others should join We’re Green, and how our community helps you, helps others, and helps the world as a whole.  Feel free to promote different sections of the Website – for instance, if you are a huge fan of our articles on Travel & Nature, or if you are a particularly active member of a certain forum here at We’re Green, then feel free to make that most visible part of your promotion.  After creating your page, add a small/short snippet on your main page that directs users to the page about We’re Green, and from there to the We’re Green Community.  Our software allows us to automatically track which websites are sending traffic to We’re Green, and therefore, if you are the winner, we will know if automatically.

What type of sites can you use to promote We’re Green for this contest?  Well, again, that is pretty simple – Any and all.  Here are a few examples of the different sites that others have used to link to and promote We’re Green to their friends, family, co-workers, and website visitors.

• Create a page on your website that is all about We’re Green – what you love, why you’re here, and why others should be here too.
• Add a snippet of that page to your website’s homepage that links to the article/page/blog/etc about We’re Green, where visitors can read your words, and follow a link directly to the We’re Green Community.
• And then – Oh, wait, that’s all – No, Seriously!

Each and every month, we will go over all of the 3rd Party (that’s you) websites that have linked to We’re Green, and sent traffic to the community, and select a winner based on:

• Effort
• Enthusiasm for We’re Green and The Wider Green Community
• Actual Traffic Sent to the Community

And every month, the winner receives a prize (cash, service, or product) from one of our sister sites, partners, and/or affiliates.
